Almost ready for China

In a week, if all goes well, I should be more than halfway through the long flight between Newark and Beijing. Whether I'll be able to get at this blog when I'm over there is an open question; Jamie is skeptical about it. But I'm going to try. Right now I'm just making sure it still works.
