There’s been nothing much going on these last couple of days. I don’t get to work very early, so I don’t leave very early either, and by the time I get back to the apartment it’s almost dark. The weather has turned wet and a little raw, and the leaves are accumulating on the sidewalk along the edge of the park I pass on the way to work. Work is going well, and uneventfully.
Last evening I took a long walk through a nearby neighborhood, the “Flagey,” named after its central plaza, the “Place de Eugene Flagey” (named after a former mayor, says google). Ten streets converge on the square, and they are all chock full of cafés, shops, galleries, offices, and restaurants. Even on a random weeknight there were people everywhere (including a tour bus offloading a crowd of people), though it wasn’t as crowded as when I was down there last Friday evening.
More when there’s something to report, which probably won’t be til the weekend.
