Time is flying by

The picture is of a sculpture called "Le Phenix," which is in a detached part of the Jardin du Roi, in a traffic circle of sorts located between my street and the office. I haven't found out what The Phoenix is "about" -- but it certainly is a striking object to walk by a couple of times every day.
Last night half a dozen of us from work went out for a very nice dinner that lasted 3 1/2 hours. No rushing people out the door around here! I had cod with a sauce/topping made with some kind of black olives: very good.
Other than that, I haven't done anything special this week, unless you count taking off from work this morning to trek over to the laundromat. It's quite a bit colder than it was a few days ago, and by the time I got done with that adventure I felt like I was coming down with a cold. I'm babying myself in hopes of avoiding more than a sniffle; so far so good.
